We eloped at Chapel Dulcinea in Austin, Texas on the morning of October 29, 2016. Exactly 11 years after we met at a Halloween party in college.

Over the past 5 years, we have established our life in Austin, and we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. Chapel Dulcinea is a small open-air chapel extending past the edge of a cliff. It was the perfect setting for our elopement. The fact that it's located on the Wizard Academy campus, may have also played a role in the location decision.

We can give you any number of reasons as to why we eloped; we wanted to save money to work on #tuntmore, it was easier to plan, but honestly, we felt our wedding would be one of the most intimate moments in our relationship. This, we decided, was a deeply personal and private thing, and a traditional wedding just wasn't going to fit this view, so we eloped! 

Thanks to a few amazing friends, without whom we could not have pulled this off.
